Sound Healing with Soul-full Notes

Sound healing has been practiced for thousands of years to improve overall health. It is based on the knowledge that everything in the Universe vibrates at different frequencies, including our own bodies. For many of us, various events in our lives can disrupt our natural frequencies- stress, anxiety, illness, lack of sleep, etc. By immersing ourselves in sound healing, the natural frequencies of the body can be restored through the sound waves we receive.

During the sound bath you will lie down or sit while a variety of instruments are played. These instruments include crystal quartz singing bowls, Koshi chimes, wave drum, shakers, and more. You will be invited to close your eyes and relax as the sound waves from these instruments work to rebalance your body’s frequencies.

There are a variety of physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits you can receive from a sound bath. These benefits can include the promotion of relaxation, enhancement of meditation, stimulation of the immune system, clearing of negative energy, chakra re-balancing, improved sleep, increased focus and concentration, and more. I invite you to treat your mind, body, and soul to the amazing experience of a sound bath!

*Just a note that individuals who have pacemakers, implanted pumps/devices, epilepsy, and women who are in the first 12 weeks of pregnancy are advised not to participate in sound baths.

Participants are encouraged to bring a mat if they have one.

I am honored to have begun my sound healing journey in 2022. My discovery of sound healing came as a result of me searching for a way to heal myself. We all feel the effects the world’s stressors have on us, and as a full-time Elementary STEM teacher, I fully see and feel the implications of these stressors, not only on myself, but also on my students and my colleagues. I had a deep desire to help myself heal, but as an empath I also felt a strong pull to help others around me heal. When I discovered sound healing, it truly changed my life and I immediately wanted to extend that experience to others. For me, sound healing is the perfect combination of many things I love in my life- science, spiritualism, music, and healing.
